STOMASAFE PLUS
It is very easy to apply the StomaSafe Plus belt and it fits very well around the stoma. It gives a good sense of security that the pouch doesn’t just “pop out” underneath one’s clothes and I noticed that very shortly after having started using the belt, I stopped checking if the pouch had appeared from underneath my blouse. The belt is really comfortable to wear and it is really great that the pouch is not touching the skin directly, especially during warm periods. I will definitely wear it again and probably even increase the use of it in future as it provides extra safety, keeping the pouch in place. I think this belt is a great product.
STOMASAFE CLASSIC
I have chosen to use StomaSafe Classic for sleeping which is really fine. It’s so nice to be able to turn in bed without having to check if the pouch gets stuck. I sleep very well with the belt on and it feels nice to have the fabric between the pouch and the skin. I will definitely continue using it at night as the additional security it gives during sleep is really great.

I GAIN MORE SELF-WORTH AND SELF-RESPECT WITH THE CORSINEL BELT
The Corsinel Belt is extremely comfortable to wear. It fits better and does not slide as much as another belt from another manufacturer that I have tested. I use the belt all day long. It helps me manage the hernia, so that I feel more comfortable, meaning that I gain more self-worth and self-respect so to say. Before, I did not want to go out, but now that I wear the belt, I feel better when I am around people.

WITHOUT THE TUBE I FEEL THAT I HAVE A DISTENDED STOMACH
Without the Corsinel Tube I feel that I have a distended stomach.
The tube holds the hernia in place and makes it less visible, which is a great advantage, as I feel that it makes me look better. It works really, really well with the tube.

I SIMPLY CANNOT IMAGINE EVERYDAY LIFE WITHOUT IT
I live in Norway, and I’ve used the StomaSafe Classic belt since 2009/2010.
I simply cannot imagine everyday life without it. It’s a comfortable belt, as it supports and hides my pouch, enabling me to use the clothes I prefer. The belt is super.

IT IS NICE THAT THE BELT CONCEALS MY POUCH
I find the StomaSafe Plus belt very comfortable to wear. The material is very soft and the belt provides good support without putting too much pressure on the pouch. It is nice that the belt conceals my pouch, making it non-visible. I can also easily sense if the pouch is getting full. The instructions for use that come with the belt are easy to understand and the belt is uncomplicated to apply.

I WEAR STOMASAFE PLUS EVERY DAY
I wear StomaSafe Plus every day and I really mean every day. I wear it for several reasons: It supports my ostomy bag, minimizes the risk of leakage - and should a leakage happen, it protects my clothes. Last but not least, it offers great security so that I do not have to worry about my stoma when I teach or give presentations. I am a slim person and the StomaSafe Plus allows me to dress the way I want to. I keep myself fit by running, spinning and doing weight training.

WHEN I HAD MY OSTOMY (COLOSTOMY)
When I had my ostomy (colostomy) back in 2013 following intestinal cancer surgery, I worried a lot about how to get a normal life again.
I have always been a very active person - playing football, running, skiing with my family, doing activities with my children etc. but how was I to continue doing this now with a pouch hanging on my belly? I felt great discomfort sensing the pouch against my skin and the thought and feeling that it might fall off, made it difficult for me to see how I was ever to do those things I love most in life.
One thing was to compromise on my free time, however, another great concern related to my working life was the general feeling of constantly having to be on guard in case the pouch fell off.
There were many worries and negative feelings related to the fact that I now had to wear a pouch on my belly – thoughts and feelings that could almost prevent me from living the life I wanted to, in spite of the cancer disease and my ostomy.
Fortunately it turned out that help was near, as I was introduced to the two Corsinel StomaSafe ostomy belts. Thanks to these two belts I no longer have to deal with the feeling of discomfort or worry about whether my ostomy pouch will fall off.
The StomaSafe belts make me feel safe when I am active, alone, in groups or with my family. I have peace of mind as I know that the belt holds my pouch in place so that it doesn’t hang loose and I know the pouch is fixated even when I run or am otherwise active. This way I can actually enjoy the activity rather than worrying about “what if...”. Furthermore, it’s extremely nice that I don’t feel the pouch directly on my skin, as this used to give me a feeling of discomfort and ”disgust”. The ostomy belts have helped me getting rid of this feeling and I have now come so far that I sometimes even forget I have an ostomy!
The belts haven’t just eased my spare time – they also provide me great joy and security at work, securing that the pouch stays in place and at the same time the StomaSafe belts help reduce possible noises from the pouch, which gives much more discretion compared to not wearing the belt. There is no doubt that wearing these Corsinel StomaSafe belts contributes to giving me much more quality of life, and I no longer feel restricted in doing the things that mean the most to me. Now I can just be ”me”, instead of ”me and my ostomy pouch".

AN ACTIVE LIFE WITH A POUCH ON THE BELLY
My name is Morten Dippel and I am 48 years old. In September 2008 I was operated for Culitis Ulcerosa (chronic colitis) and have since then had an ileostomy (ostomy in the small intestine). As an ostomist with a pouch on the belly 24/7, living an active life with MTB cycling and a little running becomes a bit more challenging than before. You keep thinking thoughts like ”will the pouch stay intact, will it stay in place” and stuff like that.
When I use StomaSafe the ostomy pouch is kept in place without any danger of it moving around while I am active. This is a great relief, and it means that I can focus entirely on the activity, e.g. while I am cycling in the woods, rather than worrying if the pouch will leak.
StomaSafe also provides a nice warm sensation when you wear it – it provides good support around your waist and even with StomaSafe on, it’s easy to empty the ostomy pouch. StomaSafe is a good aid with a huge effect.

PROUD WEARER OF THE CORSINER BELT WITH PANEL
I am a very proud wearer of the Corsinel Belt with Panel. The difference this belt has made to my life is incredible. Having a Ileostomy and Hernia four and a half years has presented many problems. I have tried various belts and briefs, never feeling comfortable and always anxious about the Stoma output - many leaks.
The Corsinel Belt W/Panel comes with very easy, explicit instructions for the cutting of the opening for the bag to protrude, which is a wonderful idea. It is very comfortable to wear, my well being is very much improved and I have no hesitation in recommending this garment to any Hernia sufferer.
